The Inside Theatre app is the world's first theatre design app. Created in 2020, the app is designed to give those who are curious about theatre the chance to design their own costumes, set, lighting and sound for their own production of A Midsummer Nights' Dream. Hologram technology in 5 Years

In 2023, Beck embarked on an innovative experiment with hologram technology for the production "5 Years" by Hayley Davis. This cutting-edge approach involved a detailed 3D scan of the lead actor, which was then transformed into an animated holographic version that shared the stage with her. The piece delved deeply into the complex themes of body image and the societal pressures to conform to unrealistic standards.

Through the holographic image, the lead character explored the fluidity of self-perception, allowing her to modify, change, and distort her own likeness. This thought-provoking exploration encouraged audiences to reflect on their own identities and the often harsh judgments imposed by society, ultimately challenging the notions of beauty and self-acceptance in a visually stunning and immersive experience.

Projection Mapping

Beck is a keen innovator and enjoys experimenting with digital technology with live performance. For the Great Tangley Manor Millenial celebration, she hired a team to projection map the entire frontage of the 1000 year old house. The house, itself, was animated and told it's story to the audience. This was combined with singers, live actors, special effects, fireworks and Michael Buerk as narrator.

For Mrs Scrooge by Hannah Khalil, Beck introduced a projection mapped backdrop, but also integrated innovative digital technology whereby children could draw pictures that would magically appear on the set in the art gallery scene. The projected backdrop also allowed for integrated access features, such as captioning, signs and animation to tell the story in pictures.
